I thought this was a decent mov...Nice review, Erik. I thought this was a decent movie, nothing too great, but enjoyable enough while it lasted. From what I've heard from people who've read the book, the events that feel like only a few weeks here actually take place over the course of years, which makes a lot more sense, though I can also understand them condensing that timeframe down, even if the movie felt a bit rushed at times as a result. Me personally though, I woulda preferred a movie that felt more whole, however, as this movie really seemed to lack any real climactic moment, IMO. But hey, gotta set up those sequels, right?
